Michele Stanton, LCPC, LAC, provides technical assistance and programming support for the Integrated Behavioral Health and Meadowlark Initiatives. Before joining our team in April 2023, Michele served as a behavioral health provider for nearly thirteen years, with ten of those as a Licensed Addiction Counselor and most recently a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Michele has an extensive background in working with the correctional population. For nearly seven years, she provided therapy and clinical services to reduce recidivism and improve quality of life outcomes for those suffering from substance use and mental health disorders. Michele has almost six years working in the health care systems, with half of that time as a program director for a federally funded grant, working to integrate behavioral health services to rural Montana through telehealth.
She received her undergraduate degree in sociology and her master’s certificate in addiction counseling from Montana State University. Michele completed her graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling at Walden University. She was born and raised in Lewistown. She and her husband have two boys that keep them busy with an outdoor lifestyle.
